Here at State Fit, my goal is to help clients feel better through the revitalization of their gut health, hormone balance, and relationship with food. I don’t try to sell you on intense fitness routines or the next diet fad, instead my goal is to help each client better understand their bodies and work toward their individual goals and needs.

State Fit follows four pillars of understanding for helping our clients feel better in their own skin: Awareness, Attention, Acceptance, and Accountability. Consider them Amanda’s As to success!

AWARENESS.

Awareness is the gateway to change. Food should be embraced as fuel, enjoyment, and culture; however, we tend to group food into good, bad, healthy, and unhealthy. Bringing awareness to your current food relationships and habits is the first step in changing them for sustainable results.

ACCEPTANCE.

Practice radical self-acceptance above all else. Just because we are trying to change something or get better doesn’t mean we can’t choose to love and accept ourselves for who we are in the present moment. How we speak to and view ourselves impacts every decision we make.

ATTENTION.

Pay attention to the signs and signals your body is giving you on a daily basis. It always provides us the warning signs - fatigue, headaches, lethargy, sleeplessness, anxiety, GI discomfort, etc. We tend to ignore them until we can’t lose weight, a lab comes back weird, our back starts to hurt, or we receive a diagnosis. Healthy people listen while the call is still quiet.

ACCOUNTABILITY.

I am your cheerleader, support system, and teacher all in one. We can have all the knowledge in the world, but until we are able to consistently implement healthier choices into our life, it doesn’t mean much. Let me help you get there.
